Hosting

This website is hosted by Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, Germany. The servers are located in Germany. The personal data collected on this website is stored on Hetzner’s servers in Germany. We use this host in the interest of a secure, fast, and reliable delivery of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). A data processing agreement pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR is in place with Hetzner.

Server log files

When you visit this website, the provider automatically collects information that your browser transmits (server log files): browser type and version, operating system, referrer URL, host name of the accessing device, time of the server request, and IP address. This data is not merged with other data sources. It is collected on the basis of Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR for the technically correct presentation and optimization of the website.

Analytics (Umami)

This website uses Umami, a self-hosted, privacy-friendly analytics tool. Umami runs on our own server at Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. It sets no cookies and transfers no data to third parties. Only anonymized usage data is collected, such as pages viewed, approximate location (country), browser, and device type. IP addresses are not stored, and individual visitors cannot be identified. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of website usage (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Contacting us

When you contact us via the contact form or by email, we process the data you provide (for example name, email address, and your message) in order to handle your request. Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR where your request relates to the performance of a contract or precontractual measures, and otherwise on our legitimate interest in handling the request (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data remains with us until you ask us to delete it or the purpose of storage no longer applies.

Appointment booking (Calendly)

To schedule appointments we use Calendly (Calendly LLC, USA). When you book a time via the booking link, the data you provide (for example name, email address, and preferred time) is transferred to and processed by Calendly. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in simple scheduling (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR), or, where the booking serves to initiate a contract, Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Contact form (FormSubmit)

The contact form on this website is processed via the FormSubmit service (formsubmit.co). When you submit the form, the data you provide (name, email address, and message) is forwarded to us through FormSubmit. A transfer of data to a third country outside the EU cannot be ruled out. The legal basis is your consent by submitting the form (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) and our legitimate interest in simple contact (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Alternatively, you can always reach us directly by email.

Fonts

To display fonts consistently, this website uses web fonts (the Inter typeface). These fonts are served locally from our own server. No connection to third-party servers such as Google Fonts is established, and no data is transferred to third parties. They are used in the interest of a consistent and appealing presentation of our website (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
